WE WERE ENTHUSAISTICALLY WELCOMED AND ACCOLADES CAME FROM ALL QUARTERS AS WE SANG, DRUMMED, TOLD RIVETING ORAL NARRATIVES AND GENERALLY HAD AM EXCELLENT  INTERACTIVE TIME

WE'VE TRAVELLED ALL OVER THE WORLD, BUT NEVER HAVE WE MET SUCH KIND & HELPFUL PEOPLE AS THE ONE'S WHO LIVE IN INDIANA. WE ARE BIG HOOSIER FANS!

HUGE THANKS TO:  DOROTHY, T, JERRI, & SO MANY OTHERS WHO MADE OUR TRIP POSSIBLE AND SEAMLESS; WHO WERE THERE WHEN WE NEEDED HELP, INFORMATION AND GOOD CHEER.

,MERRILLVILLE FESTIVAL MERRIMENT!!

We worked three festivals, Merrillville, Fort Wayne and Wabash on the weekends. Tons of people came to see the art produced by area children, along with student dancing, orchestral and vocal presentations.

K'ool Gyet Nah Hool Family Big Drum was pressed into service on the weekends, and many people enjoyed sitting at her and hearing the big, powerful sound she produced.

WORKING IN THE MERRILLVILLE SCHOOLS

Thousands of Children in the Merrillville and Fort Wayne Areas, lots of fun. You could've heard a pin drop each time the Story of Turtle Island was told (See photos below). The kids were wonderful, the teacher enthusiastic and good sports about being hauled up to drum.  A lot of people were educated about the magic and value of North America's Native people and this, of course, is what it is all about.
